Sobre a obra

Don Quixote is a famous character from the region of La Mancha, in central Spain. Obsessed with the chivalrous ideals, he decided to fight to defend the helpless. He was always accompanied by Sancho Panza, his faithful squire.  
 
The book is considered by many people the best novel ever written and it can be lyrical and satirical at the same time. It has survived for five centures.  
 
A success since its launch (pirate copies circulated throughout Spain at that time), the author was forced to make a sequel, because apocryphal story with Don Quixote’s new adventures had already begun to emerge.
